LEARN TO SWIM – BRIDGING CLASS

Ages 3 and over. Teacher / Pupil Ratio 1 : 5 (may vary slightly)

If your toddler is starting to swim on their own but still needs some assistance, our “Learn To Swim – Bridging Class” is ideal for your family. These lessons are designed to assist young children in building their confidence in the water while learning to swim independently.

Classes begin in our shallow pool, providing a safe environment for beginners. As your child gains skills and confidence, we gradually introduce deeper water, ensuring each progression is supported by our experienced instructors.

We focus on each child’s unique abilities rather than strictly adhering to age-based groups. This approach allows us to offer tailored support and guidance, moving your child to a more advanced class as they progress.

Our lessons are designed to be engaging and enjoyable, using vibrant equipment and toys to keep children motivated and at ease.

Enroll today and watch your child embark on their swimming journey, enhance their confidence, and acquire this essential life skill.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Are The Classes?

Each lesson is approximately 30 minutes. Parents can choose between the flexible options of attending once or twice a week classes, taking into account availability and need.

How Long Will It Take For My Child To Learn To Swim?

All children are unique and are at different stages of their development. As such, there really is no easy answer to this question or to master the skill of swimming. Your child’s success lies in attending lessons on a consistent basis, fuelling their progress.

In the same way that progressing through milestones like rolling over, crawling, walking, and speaking at their own pace, swimming falls under this category as well.

How Often Does My Child Need Lessons?

We have either once or twice a week options available.

Frequency may be important, but consistency is king. At SplashLab we like to emphasize the importance of regular attendance, as it directly correlates to accelerated learning. The more immersed children are in the swimming enviroment, the quicker they acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for success. However, we firmly believe that even participating in classes once a week increases a child’s abilities compared to not participating at all.
